Tulong Pinoy - Munting Sambayanang Kristyano Partnership

Tulong Pinoy Movement has been successful in setting up small scale livelihoods with OFWs themselves as sponsors and local folks as counterparts. One livelihood is called Isang Alaga-Isang Kinabukasan (IAIK), spearheaded in January 2003.  IAIK is one of TP's HMH (HELP MY HOMETOWN) total solution to help eradicate poverty through OFW support.  Our exisiting venture are at:

Ibajay, Aklan - hograising with a mothers' cooperative
Agoo, La Union - goatraising with Iskolar-Pinoys
Calapan, Oriental Mindoro - goatraising with Mangyan tribe
Malabog, Davao - goatraising with Matigsalog tribe (upcoming!)

Herewith is another partnership and this time with Munting Sambayanang Kristyano.

Project Updates - March 2006

Pictures were taken during Donna's visit at the site.  In these pictures, we have the recipients of the IAIK project in Talisay.  There are more than 10 families being helped now by this project.  The impact of this project is more on the social earnings althought every OFW partner could receive a little monetary return in the future.  Our proposal is right below if you are interested to partner and help Talisay if it's your hometown or close to your hometown.

Project Proposal - September 2005

We would like to invite everyone who could be interested to try this venture. Here is another model of sharing your blessings to the deserving poor in the country. Hope that you will support this project and we are looking forward to hear from OFW organizations, companies and individuals.
