Let's partner...

Kabayan, let's help our hometown!

Fellow Movers work on projects directly, help other organizations in their mission works, support project initiatives in terms of networking for social marketing and fundraising activities for sustainability.

Partnership is the key word in every endeavor we partake in. We wish to get your support by introducing to us individuals, organizations and communities in the Philippines and elsewhere in the world for us to invite them in our empowerment plan for each OFW to assume his/her role in the alleviation of poverty in the Philippines.

From small powers collected, we can have one big power that will have us fulfill the dream - a better Philippines. Our ongoing projects and tieups are:
  1. Iskolar-Pinoy program - a scholarship assistance of only 3,000 yen or 25 dollars or 1000 pesos per month for high school, college students, out of school youth and marginalized women (former prostitutes or pickup girls) who want to finish their education because they believe that education is the only key to change their lives in the Philippines with various partner organizations, churches and communities in the Philippines for monitoring and evaluation. This program has 12 college graduates since 1999 with 80 continuing scholars this semester and about 500 scholar-applicants from various remote regions fo the Philippines. Its priority areas at present are: Payatas-Quezon City, Manila, Catarman-Samar, Bukidnon, Romblon, Aeta Resettlement- Botolan-Zambales, Cavite, Tayug-Pangasinan, Badjao Community-Davao City, Davao del Sur, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bacolod, Davao del Norte, Dumagat tribe of Infanta-Quezon, Bataan, San Pedro-Laguna, Agoo-La Union, Matigsalog tribe-Davao City, Ifugao, Benguet and Cordillera region, Bohol, Mountain Province, Isabela, Aklan, Antique, Albay, Cebu, Bataan, Leyte, Compostela Valley, Davao del Norte, South Cotabato, Surigao ... Pokus:Matigsalog tribe in Davao and Bukidnon Areas (a tieup with LUMaDS-Dev and Tribal Mission Foundation International) is for scholarship and livelihood opportunities for this poverty-stricken subtribe of Manobo due to El Nino and La Nina effects wayback. The Matigsalog parents' income is not enough to support the basic needs of the scholars. A counterparty system will help these students sustain their basic needs (food, clothing and shelter) while they are finishing their college studies. It should be noted that this tribe is indigenous and is still in the transition period from hunting and gathering wild fruits to agriculture.

Which one interests you? Our hope is that you can share in this empowerment by being a partner of any of the above-mentioned projects. This is our way to enjoin fellow OFWs in clearing out a better image of Filipinos and at the same time helping to alleviate poverty in the Philippines. We wish to stress on having at all times a 100% Filipino-supported endeavor. Further stress on: Basta Pinoy, di na umaasa sa ibang lahi! Another stress on: NO to crab-mentality and YES to Bayanihan spirit!

We are looking forward to share this empowerment with you! Most charity works and events you may have done or planning to do will be pledged usually to a "beneficiary". Our movement is offering you or would like to lead you to a "direct beneficiary" whom you can communicate with or visit every now and then. A direct beneficiary maybe a poor youth, a family, a tribe, a marginalized group of women or communities.
